SEMINAR PROGRAM:

Speaker:  Dr. Yakup Yildirim, Department of Mathematics Near East University, Lefkoşa, Turkey

Title: SUB PICO-SECOND OPTICAL PULSES IN BIREFRINGENT FIBERS WITH KAUP-NEWELL EQUATION BY CUTTING-EDGE INTEGRATION TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract:This article studies sub pico-second optical pulses in birefringent fibers. These solitons are electromagnetic pulses whose time duration is of the order of a picosecond (10,12 second) or less. They are commonly referred to as ultrafast events. The Kaup-Newell equation in coupled vector form is considered because this model governs soliton transmission technology which has made a revolutionary effect in modern day electronic communication system such as Twitter, Facebook, Internet, electronic mail and cell phone. Bright, dark and singular solitons are obtained by the modified simple function and trial function principles.
