Ülviye SOYSEV

She was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, on May 5, 1980. Having spent the first seventeen years of her life in Nicosia where she attended primary and secondary school, she moved to London in 1997. She studied English Language for the Arts and Social Sciences at Goldsmiths, University of London. She participated in a tutoring programme during the 2000/2001 academic year at St. John the Baptist CE School in London, England. She studied English Literature for her undergraduate degree at Surrey University, England. After graduating from Surrey University she did her MA (Master of Arts) in 20th Century English Literature at Kingston University, University of London. After completing her Master’s degree in 2005, she moved back to Cyprus. In the same year, she started working as a lecturer at the Near East University, and has been teaching English at the Near East University since 2005. She completed her PhD degree in English Language Education at the Near East University.
