Pembe Coşkuner, a distinguished scholar and translator, began her academic journey with high honors in Translation and Interpretation in 2015. Graduating from Ankara Gazi Universitesi with advanced studies in Translation and Cultural Studies, she successfully defended her thesis in 2018, exploring the intricate relationship between society and language use.
Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English Language Education at Near East University, Pembe actively contributes to the academic community through teaching courses in oral and written translation.

Her scholarly engagement extends beyond the classroom, with her research on translation equivalence accepted for presentation at the International Congress on Academic Studies in Translation and Interpreting Studies (ICASTIS).

Beyond her academic pursuits, Pembe excels as a translator, actively participating in both oral and written translation projects. Her dedication to bridging linguistic and cultural gaps aligns seamlessly with the values of Near East University.

In addition to her academic achievements, Pembe actively seeks opportunities to enhance her skills through workshops and seminars. Noteworthy among these are workshops on note-taking and consecutive interpreting in collaboration with AIIC, a two-day workshop on Law Translation, and translator training workshops on CAT tools conducted by the Linguistic Support Project.
Furthermore, Pembe recently participated in the 2nd International Congress on Current Approaches in Communication, Literature, Music, and Art Studies, showcasing her commitment to exploring the dynamic interplay between language, society, and culture.
